Microgreen Smoothie Recipes

Alright, folks! You've been asking, here they are, the coveted selection of microgreen smoothie recipes! Many thanks to the lovely Miss Marcy, microgreen-smoothie master, for sharing these recipes from the vault with us all! All recipes are for one 16 oz smoothie, so double or triple the recipe if you're anything like us. And go nuts with the microgreens, you can never have enough!

 

Chocoholic:

8 oz chocolate almond milk

1 T raw almonds (6-8 almonds)

1 T almond butter

1 tsp cacao nibs

1 banana

1/2 oz+ kale microgreens 

couple dashes of cinnamon 

4 oz ice 

 

Blueberry Dream

8 oz vanilla almond milk (can substitute for unsweetened almond milk)

2/3 cup frozen blueberries 

1 frozen banana

1/2 oz+ red cabbage microgreens

 

Mocha

4oz chocolate pea or almond milk

4oz cold brew coffee concentrate

2 dates, pitted

1 frozen banana 

1/2 0z+ kale microgreens 

4 oz ice 

 

Vanilla Latte:

4oz vanilla pea or almond milk

4oz cold brew coffee concentrate

2 dates

1 frozen banana 

1/2 oz+ kale microgreens

4 oz ice cubes

 

OMG (orange, mango, ginger)

4 oz coconut milk

4 oz orange juice

1 sliver of thinly sliced lemon, peel on

1 quarter-sized slice of ginger 

2/3 cup frozen mango

1/2 oz+ broccoli microgreens 

2 oz ice cubes

 

Tropical Broccoli

4 oz coconut milk

4 oz pineapple juice

1 banana

2 T coconut shreds (unsweetened)

1/2 oz+ broccoli microgreens 

4 oz ice

 

Be Still My Beeting Heart

6-8 oz coconut water

1/4 beet

1/3 apple

1/2 banana

Squeeze lime juice from thick lime wedge 

6-8 mint leaves 

1/2 oz+ red cabbage microgreens 

6 oz ice

 

Carrot Cake Smoothie

8 oz vanilla coconut milk

1.5 carrots

1.5 frozen bananas

2 dates 

1 T walnuts 

1 T unsweetened coconut shreds 

Liberal sprinkle of nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon

1/2+ oz red cabbage microgreens
